2025 NBA Draft: better available after the first round

Night One of the NBA Draft is officially behind us, but we still have the second round Thursday evening. The first choices were planned, but then everything became chaotic. There were a handful of sprayed operations, but Mark Williams He was the only player who was moved. The rest were all chosen.
The most surprising move of the night was the trail blazer he exchanged to select Hansen Yang With choice n. 16. Before the draft, I was going to have Yang in this list. Instead, he went just out of the lottery. One wonders if Portland would have led him to 11 years if they had not been able to exchange.
30 talented players were selected in the first round and 29 others will be selected in the second round. Here are the 10 best players available, with the Timberwolves making the next selection.
It was a good day to be the Maverick, not so much for the fans of the trail blazers.
F Rasheer Fleming, San Giuseppe
I don’t understand the Fleming slide on the second round. It is an older perspective, and it is not the creator of more dynamic shots, but it is a three -year -old wing and legitimate with a 7’5 wing opening. Those players do not grow on trees. It has marked on average 14.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.4 stolen, 1,5 blocks and 1.8 three episoders per game last season. It should be one of the first players selected in two rounds. Two.
The best moments of Fleming from the San Joseph season
He looks back to the best moments of Rasheer Fleming’s 2024-25 season for St. Joseph’s Hawks in view of the 2025 NBA draft.
C Maxime Raynaud, Stanford
I thought Raynaud had a case to select the first night, but instead it was a handful of other big names. Raynaud is at least one better shooter than all of them and could be an overall offensive player better than most of them. He scored 20.2 points on average, 10.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.9 three episodes per game last season. Boston has chosen 32 and Charlotte has chosen 33 and 34. Both teams need help in the center.
F Adou Thiero, Arkansas
The uber-athletic wing is not a great shooter, but is ready to have an impact immediately in the NBA. He scored 15.1 points on average, 5.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 stolen per game last season. The addition of a player of his caliber in the second round will be an excellent pick -UP and will be able to be part of the rotation of a team immediately. If he finds himself in a team that needs him to play great minutes, he should cause chaos in defense and provide a lot of thefts.
F Noah Penda, Le Mans (France)
Penda is a game striker who can really defend on the perimeter. He is not a great scorer, but he can fill a series of holes for any team. He marked on average 10.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 stolen, 0.9 blocks and 1.0 triple per game in 37 appearances last season. It is an all -round perspective that will make any team happy to take it to the second round.
G Kam Jones, Marquette
Jones is an older perspective at 23 years old, but he is one of the best directors of this class. He scored on average 19.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.4 stolen and 1.9 three episodes per game last season. He was not a great shooter and is not an explosive athlete, who may have forced the teams to avoid from him in the first round. But getting a reliable lead sphere manager in the second round is a selection of great value.
HLS: the best of Jones of Marquette’s 24-25 season
He looks back to the best moments of Kam Jones’ 2024-25 season for the Marquette Golden Eagles in view of the 2025 NBA draft.
C ryan kalkbrenner, creighton
Like another 23-year perspective, Kalkbrenner has enjoyed a production season of 2024-25 with averages of 19.2 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.7 blocks per game. The 7’2 “center may not have the same advantage as other big ones in this draft, but it should be able to play a solid role in the NBA, even if it is a reserve.
G Alijah Martin, Florida
Martin certainly has a case to be the best defender of the class. He is not the most dynamic offensive player, but he does enough for this purpose in order not to be a responsibility, in particular as a spacer of the floor. The teams will be much more interested in what it does defensively. He scored on average 14.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.5 stolen and 2.1 three episodes per game last season. It is a little undersized to 6’3 “, but a 6’7.5 wing opening” helps to compensate.
F Bogoljub Marković, Kk Mega Basket (Serbia)
The 6’11 “striker is an intriguing offensive player, but there are some important question marks on the defensive part. However, there is enough for a team to select it at the beginning of the second round. It really has the potential to be a dynamic offensive stallion, mainly as a shooter, but also as a director. He scored on average 13.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 three Pointer per season.
F Jamir Watkins, Florida State
Watkins will be 24 years old at the beginning of the Summer League, which probably made some teams avoid. However, it marked on average 18.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.2 stolen and 1.7 three episodes per game last season and will certainly be ready to contribute next year. He is not a dynamic offensive player, but the defensive ability should bring him a few minutes.
G Chaz Lanier, Tennessee
Each team needs to shoot and the 23 year old can help you. He scored on average 3.2 three episodes per game last season while shooting 39.5 percent from over the arch. There are some intriguing measures, such as a 39 “and 6’9” vertical wing opening, but it was not a great defender to college and is not a dynamic offensive force. However, a reliable shooter in the second round is always a good addition.
