2025 NBA Draft: Hunter Sallis, Vlad Goldin among the best not written perspectives

During listening to your name is the strongly preferred path for the NBA, there are only so many slots available. For the 2025 edition, there were 59 choices and many skilled players were not drawn up. Below is a quick look at the top 10 not selected players and where they are directed as unreleased free agents.
1. G Hunter Salis, Wake Forest
After playing two seasons in Gonzaga, Sallis moved and took on a much more significant role in Wake Forest. During his last season, the 6 feet guard-5 scored on average 18.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.2 stolen and 1.3 three episoders per game, shooting 45.7 percent from the field and 80.4 percent from the foul line. While Sallis did not provide much value as a three-point shooter, doing 27.7 percent of his attempts in 2024-25, there are previous evidence that he can.
Announcement
During his first season in Wake Forest, the guard fired 40.5 percent from deep to 5.4 attempts per game. If Salis had entered the draft 2024, there is a strong probability that it would be selected. The reduction of precision of three was probably a factor for not having been enrolled on Thursday, but accepted a two -way agreement with the 76er shortly after the conclusion of the project.
2. C Vladislav Golden, Michigan
Goldin enjoyed a slight collegiate race, appearing for the first time for Texas Tech and then joining the Fau, where he was part of the team of the team of the team at the Final Four in 2023. Instead of going to the NBA, Goldin returned to college last season, following the coach head Dusty May in Michigan as a degree transfer. The 7 -foot center and 253 pounds scored on average 16.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.5 stolen and 1.4 blocks during the crack of 61/33/73.
His size gives him the rise as a marker and internal rebound, but it can be even better in attack if he manages to further develop his three -point shot. Goldin has agreed with a two -way contract with The Heat, who already has Bam Adebayo and Kel’El Ware, but there may be a need for further depth in the frontcourt.

3. G Dink Pate, Mexico City
The Pate 6-Foot-8 marked the Gai League road, starting from the 2023-24 season as part of GIOGAGNITE G League. The dissolution of that team led Pate to join the Capitaes of the Mexico City, where he marked on average 10.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 34 departures. While the native of Texas boasts more athleticism, it needs to grow as a shooter, with Pate shooting 26 percent from three and 58 percent from the foul line of last season.
The combination of dimensions and athleticism makes it an attractive perspective, but Pate still has a long way to go as a shooter. At the end of Thursday evening, he had not accepted a two -way agreement, but Pate could be worth the risk of a team willing to wait for his development.
4. F/C Eric Dixon, Villanova
As for individual numbers, Dixon is one of the most productive players in the history of the Villanova program. The 6-Foot-8 Forward/Center guided the nation by scoring as a senior, gaining all-America honors and an all-bar East selection of the first team.
Announcement
Dixon marked on average 23.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 2.9 three episoders per game while recording 45.1/40.7/81.3 Shooting rifts. While undersized for the NBA level, the improvements of Dixon as a shooter can translate. He accepted a two -way contract with the Lakers, creating an intriguing option if Dixon can defend Fours on the perimeter.
5. C Viktor Lakhin, Clemson
The 6-foot center and 11 and 245 pounds from Russia played three seasons in Cincinnati before moving to Clemson before the 2024-25 season. In 34 games, he recorded an average of 11.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 stolen, 1.5 blocks and 0.7 three episoders in 23.6 minutes, shooting 50.6 percent from the field and 69.6 percent from the foul line.
Lahkin improved as a finitor and facilitator during his lonely season in Clemson and was also an effective protector of the rim. However, he must improve his lateral mobility and his strength in preparation for the NBA game. Although it has not yet agreed with a contract, it is not surprising if a team signed Lakhin to participate in the Summer League game next month.

6. G Ryan Nembhard, Gonzaga
The younger brother of the Pacers looked at Andrew Nembhard, Ryan spent two seasons in Creighton before following Andrew’s footsteps and moving to Gonzaga. Like Senior, the 6 feet guard led the nation in assist, with an average of 9.8 per game, also considering 10.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.7 stolen and 1.1 three episodes. Nembhard scored on average only 2.7 attempts of three points per game last season, but the accuracy was there, while shooting 40.4 percent from beyond the arch.
While the lack of size can lead to a little sight, Nembhard’s ability as a director and improved perimeter shooter have put him on the NBA radar. He was signed for a two -way agreement by Mavericks, who could be an interesting place depending on how Dallas turns to the leading guard position in the free agency. Expecting it to nembhard breaks the rotation would not be realistic given the contract, but Kyrie Irving (knee) will lose a significant part of the 2025-26 season.
7. G Chucky Hepburn, Louisville
After spending three seasons in Wisconsin, Hepburn moved to Louisville and was a key contribution for the cardinals in 2024-25. He earned all-Acc honors and scored on average 16.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 2.4 stolen (top in the ECC) and 1.9 three episodes per game. Hepburn shot 43.2 percent from the field and 84.4 percent from the foul line. While the perimeter shot needs some work, the filming of Hepburn suggests that it has space to develop.
Announcement
He is able to influence two men on the game and as a defender, but Hepburn will have to improve as a shooter and clean up the turnover (3.0 per game in 2024-25). Hepburn accepted a two -way agreement with the Raptors, which were much improved defensively during the second half of last season. While the defensive ability and the game have opened the door to Hepburn, its chances of attacking will probably depend on the perimeter shot.
8. F rj Luis Jr., St. John’s
While the coach of St. John Rick Pitino loaded himself on transfers in view of his second season with the program, his best player was among the few repatriated. Luis, who played a season at Omass before moving to St. John’s, was one of the best players in university basketball in 2024-25. In 35 games, it marked on average 18.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.4 stolen, 0.6 blocks and 1.3 three pointers, shooting 43.9 percent from the field and 74.7 percent from the foul line.
In addition to being appointed Big East Player of the Year, the versatile Luis was an all-American consensus. Many projected him as a choice of the second round, but his name was not called Thursday. The good news for Luis is that he was able to obtain a two -way agreement with the reconstruction jazz. Utah added Ace Bailey in the first round, but overall the team has an uninteresting rotation of the wing. In addition, the team was willing to offer two -way players and the Gai League collaborators to show what they can do during this reconstruction. Which could be a good omen for Luis.

9. G Mark Sears, Alabama
After two seasons in Ohio, Sears moved to Alabama and flourished under his head coach Nate Oates. A twice all-American, the 6-foot points guard scored on average 18.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 0.9 stolen and 2.4 three episodes per game in 2024-25. Sears fired 40.3 percent from the field, a decrease of 10 percentage points compared to the 2023-24 season and its effective percentage in the field has decreased by 11 percentage points at 49.4. Together with its size, the decrease in efficiency is a concern.
However, Sears can be an offensive factor, especially if placed in positions in which he can play downhill. The former Alabama point guard accepted a two -way agreement with the Bucks, who will play most of the next season without Damian Lillard (Achilles). Also, Kevin Porter Jr. It will be a free agent without restrictions. On paper, it is unlikely that Sears is able to play minutes of rotation. However, with the Giannis Antetokounmpo Conversations outside the organization, who knows what will happen once the dust is deposited after the free agency?
10. F Grant Nelson, Alabama
The 6-foot Nelson and 10 played three seasons in the state of the North Dakota before moving to Alabama before the 2023-24 countryside. He provided the Crimson Tide with offensive versatility in the frontcourt, but there is a job to be done on the perimeter shot. In 37 games last season, Nelson scored on average 11.5 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.5 stolen, 1.2 blocks and 0.6 three points. Nelson fired 52.2 percent from the field, 25.8 percent from three and 66.7 percent from the foul line.
While a solid defender, there is still room for growth, especially in two men’s game. Nelson’s ability to constantly break down the perimeter shots will be a key factor while trying to settle as a professional. If it can do it, it can be a theft in this draft. Nelson joins the reconstruction networks with a two -way agreement and while Brooklyn is reconstructing, they also have five choices in the first round to work in the fold.
