According to reports, Kevin Durant’s trade in the rockets could expand to include a record of 7 teams

The trade that sent Kevin Durant to Houston’s Rockets somehow became more complicated.
Much more complicated.
According to The Athletic, the agreement that sends Durant by the Phoenix Suns to the Rockets is expanding quickly. The agreement could involve what would be a seven teams championship record when everything has been said and done, including Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves.
Announcement
No agreement is imminent, however, and the details are still in the processing phase. It is not clear when trade would officially fall, if not entirely. If he does, however, he would break the record set before last summer which treated Klay Thompson at the Dallas Maverks. Six remarkable teams were involved in that trade.
While it looks like a complicated and wild deal – it includes almost 25% of the championship teams, after all – apparently it does not include anything new. According to The Athletic, there have been not many additional developments in the agreement. Most of the names involved, for the report, are part of the operations that have already been agreed and announced.
In exchange for Durant, the Suns received Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and different shooting choices. Daeqwon Plowden is the only other championship player last season which is involved in this enlarged trade, for the relationship. Apparently all the others are by the operations that have been agreed during the draft of the NBA. And, second NBA Insider Jake FischerThis would always have been an agreement to six teams. The only new addition is the Hawks, who apparently are working to send Clint Capela to Houston in a sign.
Announcement
Negotiations cannot be officially aimed until July 6, when the free agency period officially begins. The negotiation period started on Monday.
So, while the seven teams now will be a funny curiosity for the NBA fans for the years to come, assuming that it is aimed in this way on Sunday, they are really business as usual for the NBA. Just a long and extremely complicated commercial agreement.
