Premier League top scorer Alan Shearer have named their team of the week for week 29, featuring Chelsea hat-trick hero Joao Pedro and three Newcastle United players.
Joao Pedro scored his first Premier League hat-trick in Chelsea’s impressive 4-1 win over Aston Villa and provided an assist for Cole Palmer, who is also in Shearer’s side.
Elsewhere, Newcastle’s 2-1 win over Manchester United, after playing the entire second half with 10 men, resulted in three of their players and their head coach being selected by Shearer.
Magpies goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale played in his first Premier League start since Boxing Day, while midfielder Joelinton and match-winning striker William Osula also made the XI. Meanwhile, Eddie Howe is chosen as manager after his inspired decision to bring on Osula in the 85th minute.
