Ally McCoist throws doubts about Arsenal after being “surprised” by Viktor Gyokeres

Ally McCoist is sure that Viktor Gyokeres will be a success at Arsenal – but is unsure if he can fire them to the Premier League title this season.

McCoist believes after their summer recruitment that Arne Slots men will be difficult to catch this season for any team. He said: “They have done the work as well and not sure it is clear yet.
“The signings have been excellent. By far the strongest team in the league last year, very impressive. I expect it to be closer. Arsenal has also had a good window, but we all have to be really impressed with how Liverpool has gone on and how well they have done to get their business done early.
“If they get Alexander Isaac, Jesus, it will be fantastic for them. One, two, three, four, five? Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Aston Villa.”
