David Ornstein of The Athletic was among the journalists to confirm that Arsenal has concluded an agreement and that a medical is made, with only the official signature and the remaining announcement.
However, Ozhianvuna was not 18 years old before January 2027, and he will stay with Shamrock Rovers so far. It was therefore good news for his current club and his future club when Shamrock Rovers qualified for the Europa conference league this week.

Ozhianvuna was on the bench for the last European qualification of Shamrock Rovers against Santa Clara on Thursday. His team had already had an advance of 2-1 from the first leg, and they kept this advantage with a 0-0 draw to see them in the competition proper.
Rovers then learned of its European opponents on Friday, the club to welcome Shakhtar Donetsk, Celje and Hamrun Spartans, visiting Sparta Prague, Aek Athens and Breidablik.
It is a good group of opponents for the teenager to test, if he can get on the ground for a few minutes.

The reports suggest that Arsenal will pay at least 2 million euros for Ozhianvuna, with additional modules which potentially take the move above 4 million euros and a healthy sales clause also included. The player will sign a four and a half year contract, which should last until 2031.
The Brugge club also took a step for the player, and this transfer would have allowed him to leave immediately. Ozhianvuna rather chose to transfer in 2027, after having already met Per Mertesacker and visited Arsenal several times.
The midfielder on a right foot generally works on the left, making it a good alternative to the growing list of arsenal field environments for which the reverse is true. He has made 15 senior appearances so far, and he will surely have much more to his credit when he moves in northern London.
