Arsenal director Mikel Arteta has not finished strengthening his team. The Gunners are preparing to make room for a new defender by unloading Jakub Kiwior, and finding a replacement for the Polish international is not the only objective for the London club.

Kiwior, who joined Arsenal de Spezia in 2023, was much sought after this summer. Crystal Palace considered a decision, and there have been interests from Italian clubs, but Porto seems to lead the race with Arsenal to make a modest profit.

The Gunners were active on the transfer market this summer, Ebelechi Eze being their last acquisition. The English international could make his debut against Liverpool this weekend, after his move of 68 million pounds sterling by Crystal Palace.
