Andrea Berta has been busy this summer as he is conducting several Arsenal deals at once in a bid to make the team stronger.

The Gunners have been closing in on a few moves in the market, with three already lined up to go ahead.

Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard are all set to join Arsenal, in moves that will improve squad depth and quality.

While forwards are also important, Andrea Berta is keen to find even more depth after a season filled with injuries.

Arsenal fans react to Real Madrid battling for Cristhian Mosquera in the transfer window

One deal being lined up is Cristhian Mosquera’s potential move to Arsenal.

The Valencia defender has been a standout in La Liga at just 21 years old, having become a regular for his side.

With just one year remaining on his contract, there has been interest from Arsenal, but Real Madrid have been in the race too.

The Gunners appear to be the most advanced of the teams trying to sign Mosquera, stepping up the intensity in talks over a switch.

Given previous clashes with Real Madrid in the transfer market, Arsenal fans have loved the situation with the defender on social media.

“We own Madrid,” one fan said on X.

“Real Madrid are really going to hate us after the last few months aren’t they?” another supporter added.

One fan simply said: “When Arsenal knock, it’s a different knock.”

While another added: “Damn sorry guys [Real Madrid].”

“[Martin] Zubimendi, Mos [Mosquera], MLS [Myles Lewis-Skelly]. Hold that,” another fan said in reference to other deals Arsenal have seemingly won this summer over Real Madrid.

It shows how delighted Arsenal fans are to be competing and beating other top teams in the market.

The rivalry with Real Madrid is brewing on and off the pitch, with the Gunners stepping up their efforts to land another victory over Los Blancos.

Every Arsenal battle with Real Madrid this summer transfer window

Arsenal’s battles with Real Madrid have come both on and off the pitch in recent months, with the latest victories coming in the transfer window.

As it stands, Arsenal have won the race to sign Martin Zubimendi, beating Los Blancos to the Spaniard’s signature this summer.

Beyond him, Real Madrid had shown transfer interest in Myles Lewis-Skelly, who entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Emirates Stadium.

However, Lewis-Skelly has signed a five-year contract extension, ending any hopes of the Spanish outfit landing him for a bargain fee.

Now there’s Mosquera, who Arsenal are progressing to sign ahead of Real Madrid in the coming weeks and months.

If Arsenal land the defender, then it could be enough to annoy Real Madrid, stoking that rivalry.
