Arsenal has reportedly rejected two new approaches for defender William Saliba. Gunner’s orchestra is currently a major change, but has now been forced to reject interest in one of his key players.

Mikel Arteta entered the summer transfer window with a clear plan to get reinforcements into each department, and he is now just one edge away from completing his review.

Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke and Martin Zubimendi have all arrived at Emirates Stadium for big money and are expected to have an immediate impact in northern London. Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard and Cristhian Mosquera have also put the pen on paper with the shooters, which has placed depth and experience in the overall squad.

Arsenal is on the market for another edge, but they also prioritize gaming sales. Leandro Trossard, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior meet all uncertain future during the last two weeks of the summer transfer window, with Reiss Nelson and Fabio Vieira also attract interest.

Saliba is also visible by a number of top clubs around Europe, and Arsenal reports that the Artetas side has recently rejected the approach from both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain for their No. 2.

Gunners has no interest in maintaining approach to the defender and has made it “crystal clear that he is not for sale”. Instead, Arsenal sees him as a “corner stone” in their backline in both the short and long -term future.

Sporting Director Andrea Berta is working to beat a new contract agreement with Saliba, which is currently bound by 2027. However, Arsenal hopes to extend that deal and increase his payroll to make him one of the highest paid players at the club.

Real Madrid and PSG are said to have accepted Arsenal’s attitude and have now drawn attention to alternative alternatives. Both clubs also consider Liverpool star Ibrahima Konate, who is during the last 12 months of her contract at Anfield and yet to sign an extension, with negotiations that threaten to collapse earlier.

Konate has already rejected a number of extension offers, and it remains to be seen if the reds ultimately decide to get money on the Frenchman rather than risk him going away as a free agent next summer.
