Arsenal here with triple blowing before Leeds Clash, three stars miss training
Arsenal stars Kai Haftz, Ben White and Christian Norgaard missed all training on the Wednesday before their game against Leeds United, according to journalist Simon Collings.
Gunners is preparing for his second match in the Premier League season, and they started a perfect start when it comes to coming home with three points. Arsenal traveled to Manchester United with a variety of new signings involved and secured a 1-0 victory thanks to a Riccardo Calafiori head from a Declan Rice corner.
It was far from a phenomenal performance from Mikel Artetas, but most importantly, they secured three points in their opening match. Old Trafford has always been a tricky place to go to Arsenal, despite United’s latest fight, so Arteta will not be too caring about the performance.
Arsenal here with Triple Blow in front of Leeds
Reporting on X, journalist Collings has confirmed that Norgaard, White and havertz were all missing from Arsenal training at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday. Gunners host an open session, with collings that can’t discover the trio when players started training.
It is unclear whether the trio is damaged or not, but Norgaard was not available to meet United this weekend. White started the game at Old Trafford, while Hafertz came from the Gunners bench. Thankfully for Arsenal, they have many options if the trio is damaged and is not available to meet Leeds on Saturday.
Jurrien Timber would probably come in for White on the right side of the defense, which he did during the game against United. Norgaard will probably not be a common start for Gunners anyway, after the signing of Martin Zubimendi in the summer, while it is a similar case for haveertz, who now has Viktor Gyokeres to compete with in the middle of the position.
Arteta is likely to give more context behind the trio’s absence at its press conference later this weekend, but it will be a blow if they are all not available, even though Arsenal has lots of coverage. North London outfit is likely to train a couple of times before their play against Leeds, so it will be interesting to see if the trio is involved again this week.
