Arsenal hold biggest lead at top of Premier League table since Wenger’s Invincibles as bookies pay out on title win
ARSENAL have moved NINE points clear at the top of the Prem – their biggest lead since last winning the title in 2004.
Martin Zubimendi’s stunner and Viktor Gyokeres’ late double saw the Gunners widen the gap in second place. Manchester City, who face Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
And some bookmakers have even started PAYING out to Mikel Arteta’s side to finally end their 22-year wait for title glory.
Boss Arteta, whose men travel to Brentford on Thursday, said: “It doesn’t mean anything. We still need to win so many games to achieve what we want, so let’s not focus on that.
“In the meantime, I’m going to watch a big, big game. We’ve done our job now, we’ve done what we had to do. We’ll evaluate, try to improve and prepare for Brentford.”

The Swede striker then notched his second and sixth in his last eight games in stoppage time.
Gyokeres said: “There was a lot of space when we won the ball back, I was aware of that.
