Arsenal injury worry as star man absent from training ahead of Champions League clash
Viktor Gyokeres did not take part in Arsenal’s training in front of the cameras before the trip to Slavia Prague.
“We had to take him off because he felt a bit nervous and muscular,” Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said after the match.
“So we’ll have to wait and see.”
And Gyokeres was not training with his teammates before the Champions League clash.
Gabriel Martinelli was also not involved again after missing the Burnley game through injury.
Kai Havertz, Noni Madueke, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus also remain absent.
But Martin Zubimendi took part after also being forced out following an injury problem against Burnley, but is suspended for the match against Prague.
Arteta will later speak to the media to provide a full update on Arsenal’s injured players.
