Arsenal move 5 points clear as City play Crystal Palace away on Sunday afternoon
Arsenal moved five points clear at the top after two own goals from Wolverhampton Wonderers’ Sam Johnstone and Yerson Mosquera in a 2-1 win at the Emirates on Saturday evening.
The two teams played out a goalless draw in the first half which had little to speak of as a more stubborn Wolves backline held their ground for 70 minutes.
Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone’s own goal in the 70th minute gave Arsenal the lead before Super Eagles left striker Tolu Arokodare equalized for Wolves in the 80th minute.
The visitors were on the verge of breaking the Gunners’ hearts for another draw late in the minute.
But Yerson Mosquera scored an injury-time own goal to give Premier League leaders Arsenal victory over bottom-of-the-table Wolves in a dramatic final at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have taken a five-point lead over Manchester City who play at Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.

Wolves’ backline wondered for 70 minutes and made the league leaders work for victory at the Emirates.
Mosquera headed in Buakyo Saka’s cross in added time after Wolves substitute Tolu Arokodare appeared to have earned the visitors an unlikely point moments before.
Wolves came into the match having made the worst start to a season in Premier League history, with two points from 15 games.
But the Wonderer frustrated Arsenal and was seconds away from an improbable result.
