Arsenal open Eberechi Eze talks as they prepare to announce FOUR transfers in summer spree

Arsenal are in the market for attacking reinforcements and have held talks over a potential move for Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze – who is also on Tottenham’s radar
Arsenal have held talks over a move for England forward Eberechi Eze. They could now rival Tottenham in pursuing a deal for the Crystal Palace star who has a £68m clause in his contract.
It is the latest development in Arsenal ’s search for wide options as their sporting director Andrea Berta has held talks with a whole host of agents, players and clubs this summer.
Eze, 26, was actually released by Arsenal as a 13 year old and has admitted it made him a “crying wreck.” But there is now a real possibility he could be ending up back at the Emirates this summer.
Arsenal are desperate to strengthen their wide areas and Eze does fit the bill after enjoying the best season of his life for club and country.
Eze has also been a big target for Tottenham with new manager Thomas Frank a big fan of their wide player.

Tottenham had chased Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo but he is now set for Manchester United and they have moved on with Eze on their list.
Arsenal have spoken to a host of players so it remains to be seen if they actually press the button on Eze – but talks have taken place.
Arsenal have also been chasing Real Madrid star Rodrygo as a wide player and he could be available for £70m but his wages and demands could be huge.
Arsenal are also in the market for a striker with RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko their preferred option over Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gykores also on their radar.
They are closing in on a deal for Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera as they also face a battle to tie down William Saliba to a new contract.
Arsenal are also completing a £5m deal for Chelsea keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga while Brentford’s Christian Norgaard is set to join with Martin Zubimendi agreed for a £51m switch.
