Arsenal plan move for twin brother of current defender

Arsenal are interested in a deal to sign Feyenoord midfielder Quinten Timber, the twin brother of Gunners defender Jurrien.
Timber’s contract at Feyenoord expires at the end of the current campaign and the 24-year-old will be able to sign as a free agent. Arsenal may contact the player’s representatives in January regarding a pre-contract agreement.

According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal see Timber as an ideal option to add depth to their midfield group. Mikel Arteta is keen to bolster his ranks with more quality, as part of plans to see Arsenal compete in all four competitions each season.
Timber is ready to leave the Eredivisie for a new challenge, having cemented his reputation as one of the best midfielders in the division.
This season, he ranks among the top 15% of midfielders in the Dutch elite for progressive passes, progressive carries, successful positions and shot-creating actions.
Borussia Dortmund are reportedly ready to compete with Arsenal for his services, while West Ham and Manchester United have tracked his performances this season. Arsenal will, however, hope that the lure of reuniting with their twin brother in north London can prove convincing.
