Arsenal reach sponsorship agreement with Deel, replacing Visit Rwanda

Arsenal have agreed a sponsorship deal with global payroll company Deel, according to Hand of Arsenal. Hand of Arsenal is a Gunners account and insider famous for breaking major transfer news for the club from the Emirates Stadium and is followed by Dharmesh Sheth, Charles Watts, Miguel Delaney, Fabrizio Romano and Sami Mokbel on

The Gunners pushed Chelsea into the deal as the Blues closed in on a deal with Deel as their exclusive shirt sponsor. However, the company opted for Arsenal when presented with the global scalability power of the Gunners. They found it more attractive compared to what Chelsea were offering, and an official confirmation and announcement is expected from the north London club in the coming days.

The finances involved are unknown, but Arsenal stand to benefit hugely from the deal as Deel is currently worth around £13 billion. The club will end its eight-year sponsorship deal with Visit Rwanda at the end of 2025-2026.

The Sleeve partnership began in 2018, with the deal currently worth more than £10million per year. Increased violence in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, which borders Rwanda, has played a key role in calls for Arsenal to end its partnership with Visit Rwanda.
