Arsenal seal Piero Hincapié loan from Bayer Leverkusen
Arsenal concluded a loan agreement for the defender of Bayer Leverkusen Piero Hincapié, the Premier League team announced on Monday.
The conferences had been centered in the last days on Leverkusen, insisting on the release clause of 60 million euros in Hincie ($ 70 million) in full or an agreement including the obligation to make a permanent initial loan agreement.
But Arsenal was able to obtain a loan with an option that would make Hincie their eighth summer signature after having committed more than 300 million euros on new players.
To balance the books, the Gunners should allow Jakob Kiwior to join Porto in a permanent agreement while Albert Sambi Lokonga has moved to Hamburg on loan.
Hamburg and Arsenal also announced a loan decision for Fabio Vieira on Monday, while Reiss Nelson should join Brentford.
Marseille hoped to conclude an agreement for Oleksandr Zinchenko, but there had been no breakthrough in negotiations on Monday.
