Arsenal sign twins Edwin and Holger Quintero | News

Arsenal Football Club have agreed a deal to sign twin brothers Edwin and Holger Quintero from Ecuadorian club Independiente del Valle, with the twins expected to join in August 2027.

The highly regarded 16-year-olds who grew up in Esmeraldas, Ecuador, will arrive at the club at the age of 18. They will follow in the footsteps of our own Piero Hincapie, born in the same region of Ecuador and also from the famous Independiente del Valle academy.

Edwin and Holger are recognized as two of South America’s most exciting young talents, displaying consistent and impressive performances at youth club and national level. Both players have been capped at international under-17 level for Ecuador.

Edwin is left-handed, fast and a skilled dribbler. He plays as a right winger, enjoys taking on opponents and has a catalog of skills.

Holger is a technically gifted right-footed attacking midfielder who combines playmaking with his progressive vision and also possesses the ability to beat opponents with quick feet.
