Arsenal star Kai Havertz has suffered a relapse, expected to return before the end of the year
Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann has revealed that Arsenal striker Kai Havertz suffered a minor setback during his recovery from his knee injury. The Emirates Stadium club have been without the Arsenal star for most of the campaign. Havertz played in the first match of the season when the Gunners faced Manchester United. He has not played since, having had to undergo knee surgery in August.

The Arsenal striker was tipped to return to action in Sunday’s north London derby, but is now expected to return towards the end of the year.
“Kai had a bit of a relapse, but he’s fine,” Nagelsmann said when asked about Havertz’s condition after Germany’s win over Slovakia on Monday.
“If everything goes well, he will be able to play again towards the end of the year.”
Arsenal will likely already be without Viktor Gyokeres for the game against Tottenham Hotspur following his injury against Burnley earlier this month.
