Arsenal told they must make one major change to beat ‘lucky’ Slot to Premier League title

The Gunners have been in good form so far this season, with Mikel Arteta’s side taking advantage of two Liverpool errors last week to take the lead in the Premier League.
Arsenal are a point clear of the reigning Premier League champions after squandering a five-point lead in a week by losing to Crystal Palace and Chelsea.
The Gunners invested heavily in their squad over the summer with eight new signings and they will be confident they now have the depth to cope.
And Campbell believes Arsenal will win the Premier League title this season if they can create universal belief within their squad.
When asked who the favorites for the title were, Campbell replied talkSPORT: “No one yet, no one.
“Liverpool, obviously they’ve been champions, they’ll always be there and Arsenal are the chasers. They’re in a good position at the moment, but they just have to…
“The proof is in the pudding, they have to keep going, keep going when it’s January, February, when it’s winter and it’s raining, away, picking up points.
“So at the moment it’s so early but they have good signs. Arsenal look good but they have to believe they can do it, that’s the problem.
“If you don’t believe you can do it, something will happen, and then you won’t get points, you won’t have that full confidence.
“Everyone has to believe that they can do it and when they have this sort of herd mentality where everyone believes in it…not stupidly, like far-fetched, but, ‘We have a great chance and we have to believe in it.’
“If you add too much doubt to it, it takes a little bit, one percent, and that one percent added to the whole team, to the whole team, can actually take away that momentum. So they have to really believe that they can do it, they have a chance to do it.”
Asked how to create that winning mentality by building slowly, Campbell continued: “I think slow is sometimes a good thing. Some people are lucky, they inherit a very good team, (Arne) Slot inherited a fantastic team (at Liverpool) and went on to win the championship.
“He didn’t need to change much, he was lucky. A new manager, a good bounce back, the players responded and yes, he was lucky. Arteta had to get rid of some players and deadwood, but in recent years he has pretty much had the team.
“I think the centerpiece is a center forward, they finally have someone (Viktor Gyokeres)… But they have to figure out how to play him. But you build him, you have to build him somehow.
“I went to Arsenal (in 2001), I didn’t win anything. Yes, they won before, but every year is different, you have to believe you can do it, and you have to have the quality around the players that can do it.
“You have to manifest it, you have to achieve it, that’s how champions are made. You have to manifest that: ‘We can do it this year.’
“It’s not ridiculous, it’s not that far-fetched, but you have to start somewhere. Everyone starts with nothing, and then you have to build and create something.”
Campbell added: “Everyone has to come together to totally believe in it. There’s a lot of guys who signed (for) three, four, five years and it doesn’t matter, they just have to win.
“How do they win? This year they have to win by hook or by crook, get a lucky win or a lucky break here and there, but you have to work for that lucky break.
“They have to win something to allow everyone to really say, ‘Hey, this is what we can achieve.’
