Check out all the latest transfer news from Arsenal, including updates on target Kenan Yildiz, loanee Oleksandr Zinchenko and a warning on the possibility of some exits in the window.

With the January transfer window now past two weeks, Arsenal are still on the lookout for some potential deals in the market. The Gunners have been relatively quiet in terms of moves inside and outside the club, as they look to mount a fresh charge for the Premier League title.

A summer outlay of around £250million has already put the north London side in a strong position, with Andrea Berta providing the team with talent and depth throughout. Despite this, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that the team would be active in pursuing opportunities in the market which he believed would pay off and help the team.

However, recent reports focus more on expenditures than revenues. Ben White has reportedly attracted interest from Everton, while Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly have been linked with exits during the January transfer window, seeking more minutes.

With that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumors ahead of another busy day in the market.

Kenan Yildiz latest transfer

Juventus are confident of retaining the services of star player Kenan Yildiz beyond the January transfer window, despite uncertainty surrounding his contract situation. That’s according to TEAMtalk, who claim the Italian club expect the 20-year-old to accept terms and sign a new deal after January, even though there has been no significant progress in tying him down to a contract extension.

Yildiz has been valued at £87million, having enjoyed an impressive spell for the Serie A club, with Arsenal among those monitoring his situation. The Turkish international currently has a contract that runs until 2029, but having become a key player since his last contract extension in 2024, teams are keen to attract him.

While the Gunners are in the hunt for his signature, so are rivals Tottenham, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United. This means a January move is extremely unlikely, while the future could hinge on a new contract in the coming weeks and months.

Oleksandr Zinchenko’s loan return

Nottingham Forest head coach Sean Dyche has revealed discussions have been held with Oleksandr Zinchenko over his future at the club. The defender is on loan at the City Ground from Arsenal, having sealed a late move to Forest in the summer transfer window with former manager Edu Gaspar.

It was a very promising season-long loan deal, but one that has yet to come to fruition for everyone involved in the deal. Zinchenko has only played 10 times this campaign and is clearly not favored by Dyche, who replaced Ange Postecoglou to become Nottingham Forest’s third permanent manager this season alone.

The England manager revealed discussions which took place with the star, who joined Arsenal from Man City for £32million, regarding his situation. He told the press: “We will see what happens. We are very open with him. He is a thorough professional, he has been and I am sure he will move forward, whatever happens.”

There is no break clause in Arsenal’s deal with Nottingham Forest, making a return difficult for all parties. The Gunners can agree to a recall if everyone is in agreement, but it remains to be seen whether they would be open to the possibility as it would likely require another outing this month.

Transfer Exit Warning

Joe Cole has sent a warning to Arsenal that they may struggle to keep some of their players during the transfer window. This comes as the squad’s depth has caused problems in terms of minutes for some stars, who have struggled to get on the pitch, with the quality awaiting them in the pecking order.

Speaking about the Chelsea squad, Cole mentioned Arsenal’s transfer policy and told Paddy Power: “You need seasoned winners in the team. I would look at the PSG squad, which I think is bloated. Players who understand winning and know how and what it means to win.

“I don’t think Arsenal will be able to keep up with all their players, some players will be available at the end of the season.”

Players like Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ben White continue to be linked with potential exits during the January transfer window, with plenty of interest in landing them.
