Arsenal XI vs Newcastle: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and injury latest for Premier League
Martin Odegaard is expected to return to the Arsenal team against Newcastle.
Odegaard has missed the last three Arsenal games after aggravating a shoulder injury, but Mikel Arteta hopes that his captain will come back to St James’ Park.

“Martin will train with us the next two days, so I hope he will be available for the game,” he said.
Arteta has brought nine changes for the 2-0 Wednesday victory on Port Vale in the Carabao Cup and should make a similar number this weekend.
David Raya should come back to the goal, Gabriel, Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori to be restored to the defense.
Martin Zubimenddi was sentenced to one night on Wednesday, while Declan Rice only played the last 10 minutes, which means that the two are fresh for Sunday.
Odegaard should join them in the midfield, but if he is not ready to start, Mikel Merino can start the head sign again.

Bukayo Saka is expected to start his first Premier League match since last month after his return from an injury to the hamstring last week.
The winger played 45 minutes against Manchester City on Sunday, then finished an hour at Port Vale three days later.
“I think he played the matches we have planned,” said Arteta. “He feels good. He will train the next two days. ”
Viktor Gyokerres will run the line after being on the bench at Vale Park, but on the left, Arteta has a dilemma.
Ebelechi Eze scored his first goal for Arsenal on Wednesday, so he is the favorite to start, but the pace of Gabriel Martinelli could have him adapted to a trip to Newcastle.
