Arsenal’s dream end to transfer window as triple agreement struck | Football | Sport

Eberechi Eze release clause triggered
Arsenal are in active talks to sign Crystal Palace midfielder Eze, joining Tottenham in the race for the England man before their north London rivals stepped away from talks.
Palace do not want to lose their creator-in-chief, but his contract has a £68million release clause that is active this summer.
L’Equipe claim that advanced talks between Arsenal and Eze’s representatives have taken place and that all that is left is for the club to decide whether to trigger the clause or try to negotiate a lower fee with Palace.
But Palace have proven to be difficult negotiators in recent years, and bypassing such talks may save Arsenal a lot of time. There is no guarantee that talking to Palace would result in the south London club offering any discount.
Eze could join very quickly if the clause was triggered and provide options in both the midfield and out wide.
Rodrygo competes triple swoop
The cherry on top of the cake would be prising Rodrygo out of Real Madrid as a market opportunity.
The Brazilian has watched on as the likes of Vinicius Jr, Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham take the glory for Los Blancos and reports have suggested he could leave for a bigger role elsewhere.
He could form a three-pronged attack with Gyokeres and Bukayo Saka, supported by the likes of Eze, Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice behind, to create a devastating attack that would strike fear into their Premier League and Champions League rivals.
