Atletico Madrid file official complaint against Arsenal after being left with cold showers at the Emirates

ANGRY Atletico Madrid have filed an official complaint against Arsenal with UEFA… for giving them cold showers.
Diego Simeone’s team is here London for Tuesday night’s Champions League clash at the Emirates.
As is customary, the La Liga giants trained at the Emirates ground the day before the match.
After their session, the Atletico stars were greeted by cold water from the dressing room showers.
According to Spanish media outlet Marca, the Spanish team were “furious”, surprised” and “confused” that such a modern stadium did not meet such a basic requirement.
Atleti officials alerted Arsenal at 6:45 p.m., shortly after the start of their training session, that there was no hot water.

But Simeone and his sweaty stars had already decided to head to the team bus and wash up at their hotel.
Arsenal quickly apologized to the Spanish club, stressing that this had never happened before.

Ironically, over the years, Simeone has been known to resort to black magic on the pitch.
Even though some of his stars were angry when they left the field while still wet and dirty after the training session, it seems to be a real problem at the stadium.
Arsenal come into the match having won their first two Champions League matches while Atleti suffered defeat on their previous visit to England last month, losing 3-2 to Liverpool.
Coach Simeone was handed a one-match ban by UEFA after clashing with home fans near the dugout before being sent off.
While Atletico were unhappy with the hospitality extended to the Emirates, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta spoke highly of their boss Simeone in his pre-match press conference.
The Spaniard, 43, said: “Well, obviously (Simeone) is someone I admire and learn from in many situations and what is exceptional for me is his passion.
“I think how long he’s been in the game and (at) the same club, with the same players, how you still have that handle and that ability to convey such energy and the will to win.
“It’s a very difficult environment we live in, and to continue to convince players you have to be extraordinarily good.
“I don’t know him personally but all I’ve heard from him is that he’s so good at doing this, it’s one of the reasons you’re able to maintain at this level.
“I think what he has done since arriving at Atletico has been exceptional, not only what he has achieved but the way he has done it.
“I think the identity he has created for the club, for the team, the spirit, I think they are very simple and clear to identify and that is because the manager is really them.
“It’s extremely difficult to achieve in a short period of time and to do it for 14 years, I think he’s here now, he’s done something incredible; a pleasure to meet him.”
