Arsenal are still negotiating potential deals to bring either Benjamin Sesko or Viktor Gyokeres to the Emirates this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The Gunners are weighing up both moves, considering which will be the best value for money based on the cost of wages and the overall fee.
Despite the fact that the North London side are working hard to bring in a centre-forward, no deal is currently imminent.
However, sources say Arsenal are set to seal the signing of Christian Norgaard, after Brentford accepted a bid of around £10million.

Arsenal still working on striker deal
It was always a possibility that Arsenal’s centre-forward saga could run deep into the window, and so it has proved.
Gunners fans are growing frustrated at the amount of time it is taking to bring in attacking talent, despite it being widely known that they need reinforcements in that area.

Last season, Mikel Arteta was forced to utilise Mikel Merino as a striker for a large part of the campaign, after both Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus suffered long-term injuries
Arsenal are expected to add Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arrizabalaga to their ranks, as well as Norgaard, with those deals all but completed.

‘Arsenal consider Martinelli bid‘
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are reportedly considering a surprise move to sign Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli as they aim to strengthen on the left-hand side.
That is according to former Man United chief scout Mick Brown, who claimed that the 24-year-old is on a long list of targets for the German champions.
After missing out on signing Florian Wirtz, Vincent Kompany’s side are assessing alternative options out wide, and have set their sights on the Premier League.
This comes after Brown told Football Insider last month that Arsenal are prepared to accept offers for Martinelli as Mikel Arteta eyes an overhaul of his attacking options.
