Brilliant Nigerian man bags 4.64/5.00 first-class in Computer Science, wins 2 awards for his outstanding performance
A brilliant Nigerian man named Folayan Micheal Yemi has bagged his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the Federal University of Technology Akure with a 4.60 grade point and won two different awards for his outstanding performance.
Folayan bagged his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a 4.60 over a possible 5.00 cumulative grade point at the Federal University of Technology Akure Nigeria.
His outstanding score earned him two different awards from the university and different notable organizations. Folayans shared his achievement of graduating with an outstanding grade on Twitter.
”Today, I was awarded with First Class Honours in Computer Science (B.Tech, FUTA). I dedicate this achievement to: God Almighty.CGPA: 4.64/5.0,” he said.
Folayan won the award of First Bank Nigeria PLC’s Top 3 Best Graduating Students of the Computer Science Department and the QuickSoft Solution Prize for Best Performance in Web Application Development (CSC 415).
He said he is reflecting on his academic journey which has been a great journey filled with academic prizes and accomplishments. While at the university, Folayan was the Interswitch campus ambassador.
He was also a beneficiary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund Scholarship. Folayan thanked his parents, siblings, lecturers, and friends for their support and contribution to his success.
