Carabao Cup third-round draw: Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool learn opponents | Football
Arsenal is absent from Port Vale in the third round of the Carabao Cup while Liverpool will welcome Southampton and Chelsea will go to Lincoln City.
Elsewhere, Newcastle United will start the defense of its Carabao Cup trophy against Bradford City.
Tottenham is at home for Doncaster, while Manchester City is absent from Huddersfield Town.
Meanwhile, the League Two Side Grimsby Town, which managed a shock to get Manchester United out of the penalties competition on Wednesday evening, is absent in Sheffield on Wednesday.

The third round accessories of the Carabao Cup of this season will take place in two weeks from September 15 and September 22.
The Champions League games will also take place in the week from September 15, while the Europa League matches are scheduled for the week from September 22.
As UEFA competition devices cannot be reprogrammed, the teams participating in the Champions League or the Europa League cannot meet in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
