Newly installed Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior will get his first taste of the club’s 119-year feud with London rivals Arsenal in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
Stamford Bridge will host the 213th meeting between the London-based English Premier League clubs. This will be the ninth time that the two teams have met in the League Cup. Chelsea have won four times, while the Gunners have won three times.

Even if Arsenal are flying high, the Premier League leaders are likely to be without their key defender William Saliba. He is considered questionable due to a hit. Striker Leandro Trossard is also unlikely to participate due to a thigh injury.
Chelsea also have their own selection headaches with left-back Marc Cucurella suspended and Cole Palmer, Malo Gusto, Reece James and Romeo Lavia all listed as doubtful.
The second leg will take place at the Emirates Stadium on February 3.
