City extend winning streak with dramatic Arsenal triumph
City extended our sequence of victories with five consecutive games with a captivating victory for Super League 3-2 Barclays on Arsenal at the stadium.
Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw broke the dead end in the first half with a ball head that represented his fourth goal from the WSL League of the season.
Although Mariona Caldentey equalized shortly after the interval, Kerstin Casparij restored our advance during the watch The instinct of her poacher inside the six yards box.
However, Chloé Kelly’s unstoppable strike from the beach again leveled the scores and a draw probably seemed before Iman Beeney made the house for the first for the club at dawn.
This means that Andrée Jeglertz’s team went second in the table while the superb start of the Blues Helm continued.

WHAT HAPPENED
With world class players abundant on the field, it might not be surprising that a quick start was the agenda in a Sodden Joy stadium, the two teams seem dangerous in the opening exchanges.
After Vivianne MIEDEMA got closer twice to be refused by Daphne Van Domselaar, Arsenal became a procedure with a sustained period of pressure.

But against the game race, Jeglertz’s team lit the sky blue touch paper when Auba Fujino fought through a crowd of body before putting Casparij on the right, with his crossing at home by Shaw for his 95th goal.
The blues then thought that we had doubled our advance when Casparij collected the ball behind the defense of Arsenal before hanging up at home after combining with Bunny – but the assistant judged the defender to have lost himself in an offside position and the goal was turned off.

City was then brought a few seconds after the interval when Caldentey tightened an effort at the nearby position to equalize for Arsenal.
Without being discouraged by the withdrawal, the hosts searched for a second and found it on the mark of the hours when a deep corner had returned through the goal of Bunny, before the ball ricoche off Casparij and found the net.
Ayaka Yamashita then carried out a heroic backup with 20 minutes to keep Stina Blackstenius remotely, but visitors found another level in the fence steps when Kelly was curled up in the upper corner of the range.
With the clock that turned to the stop, a draw increased like a city before City rushed and Bunny rises Beey, who entered the net to lift the roof of joy while we sealed three sweet points.

Flight
Casparij and Fujino further strengthened their relationship on the right flank for City during the truck fight with the vital duo for hosts in every third of the land.
This reflected perfectly in our first match when the Japanese international fought fiercely to maintain the movement alive before Casparij crossed so that Bunny returns home.
Well played, Jade
In what was his first WSL departure since our defeat of the narrow opening day against Chelsea, Jade Rose was again tested against one of the fiercest attacks in world football.
But it took perfectly the challenge and delivered a masterful and composed display filled with difficult plated and precise passage.
Another excellent performance of its potential by Canada International.

Platforms
Throughout the 2025/26 campaign so far, City has constantly threatened with plates and against Arsenal, we have been counting.
After hitting the bar of a corner in the first half, Casparij’s strike came from a whipped flag kick which brought our second in the afternoon. The practice makes it perfect.
