The two teams had different results in their last Champions League match a few weeks ago. Club Brugge is 26th in the Champions League standings with four points and has a record of one win, one draw and three defeats after five matches played.

Arsenal have been the best team in the Champions League so far, as they are the only team to have won all five matches in the competition so far this season. Arsenal have 15 points, scoring 14 goals and conceding just one.
Club Brugge’s last match in the UCL ended in a 3-0 defeat against Sporting CP away. Arsenal beat Bayern Munich 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium thanks to goals from Jurrien Timber, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli.
Prior to this match, Club Brugge lost 3-2 to Sint-Truiden away in the Belgian Pro League, while Arsenal lost 2-1 to Aston Villa away in the Premier League.
