Club Brugge vs Arsenal: Prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds
Arsenal could extend their lead at the top of the Champions League table when they visit Belgian club Bruges on Wednesday.
The Gunners are reeling after Saturday’s defeat to Aston Villa, sealed with Emiliano Buendia’s 95th-minute winner.

For Mikel Arteta’s side, it was the first defeat since August and only the second of the season, although Arsenal’s UCL record remains impeccable after wins against Bayern Munich, Slavia Prague, Atletico Madrid, Olympiacos and Athletic Club.
They are the only team to have dropped points in the competition, but they will need to overcome a handful of first-team injuries if they are to continue this form.
Club Brugge, meanwhile, is fighting for its survival. They put nine goals past Rangers to reach the league stage, but now sit just outside the knockout play-off places with just four points to their name, thanks to victory over Monaco and a thrilling six-goal draw against Barcelona.
They are, however, doing better domestically, occupying third place in the Belgian Pro League after 17 matches.

The Arsenal boss described the Frenchman as being “just days away” from returning ahead of the trip to Birmingham, suggesting he could be back in contention this week.
Arsenal will certainly be without central defenders Gabriel and Cristhian Mosquera, as both will be out for several weeks, if not months.

Kai Havertz is slowly getting closer to a return to play, but will not be flying to Belgium.
Riccardo Calafiori’s suspension for receiving a fifth yellow card of the season at Villa Park will not apply in the Champions League, meaning he is available for selection.
Declan Rice and Mikel Merino are both one card away from a one-match ban in the Champions League.

None of Club Brugge’s first-choice goalkeepers are available, with former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet suffering a muscle strain and Nordin Jackers recovering from a fractured rib.
Dani van den Heuvel, a 22-year-old Dutch international, served as their understudy this weekend, conceding three of the six shots he received as Club Brugge were beaten 3-2 by Sint-Truiden.
The injury news isn’t much better in the outfield. Centre-back Zaid Romero and midfielders Lynnt Audoor and Ludovit Reis will all miss for the hosts on Wednesday, as will concussed striker Romeo Vermant.

Prediction Club Brugge vs. Arsenal
Although Club Brugge’s Jan Breydel Stadium can be an intimidating place to visit, particularly when it’s packed with rowdy Ultras, Wednesday’s hosts have their work cut out for them.

Arsenal and Brugge occupy opposite ends of the table, and the Gunners have scored almost twice as many goals as their opponents in the opening days of the competition.
It may be true that the Gunners are coming off a first defeat in almost four months and are dealing with a series of first-team injuries. But the same goes for Club Brugge, whose six first-team absences outweigh Arsenal’s tally of three injuries and one doubt.
The fact remains that Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League. They should have plenty of class in store to get this one through without a problem.
