Collin Sexton Trade Gradi: what the hell is jazz doing? Is there a corner of Lakers for all this?

The Utah Jazz has just completed a curious trade, sending the high volume Collin Sexton and a selection of the second round of 2030 to Charlotte Hornets for the modest return of Jusuf Nurkić.
This is largely confused and could be the first step in a series of jazz moves.

Or … they could only have made an exchange that made little sense. I guess we will find out.
On the votes let’s go!
Jazz becomes bigger and perhaps clear opportunities for Ace Bailey
Let’s do something in the middle. Sexton is a better player than Nurkić and not with an insignificant margin. For jazz to send a sweetener for pick, it seems backward, especially if we consider that the Sexton contract is only $ 18.9 million and expires next summer, the same as Nukić.
So this is not even a move for cleaning the hood. If anything, jazz actually takes on money, since Nurkić is just under $ 19.4 million.
Announcement
So jazz has taken more money, did you send a choice and also gave the best player in the agreement?
There may only be some explanations for this, and the first centers around Ace Bailey, the fifth overall choice in the draft of this week’s NBA.
Bailey is a high volume shot, a description that also adapts to Sexton. By removing Sexton from the equation, jazz could be leaning on the experience of Bailey offering it a healthy diet of shots directly from the jump.
This does not explain why they would have made a gift from the Calabri to the Calabra. Unless they are bringing one center to move another, like Walker Kessler.
Announcement
Why should Kessler potentially be in motion? A theory could be the Lakers who have interest and perhaps have offered an attractive package for the 23 year old.
We do not know if it is in the cards, but surely we cannot exclude such theory, above all given the commercial package above which have given up Nurkić, who tends to fall from the rotation with most of the teams.
Degree: Incomplete.
Something here does not pass the smell of the smell and presumably jazz has something else in line. If this is the totality of what they are trying to get, then we are looking at a failed vote.
Announcement
For the part of Charlotte, everything makes sense
Of course, the Hornets have just sent Nurkić and Mark Williams within a week, which means they don’t have a ton of central depth.
But they also had another problem.
Lamelo Ball has not been exactly the pillar of availability in recent years and Sexton is an insurance policy hell.
The 26 -year -old is an 18.8 career points marker who showed off a real shooting percentage of 60.4 during his jazz mandate.
It is an option of reliable Roccia solid score that offers significant high volume efficiency. If the ball goes down again, Hornets can easily ask Sexton to absorb extra offensive responsibility.
Announcement
And they had a choice above, while they sent Nurkić, who could not even break 20 minutes per game for them.
She is a dash.
Degree: A+
Whether they were offered to him from nowhere or negotiated him over the months, the Hornets have agreed on the terms that favor them overwhelmingly.
