Como beats Napoli on penalties and reaches the semi-finals of the Italian Cup
NAPLES, Italy (AP) — Como reached the Italian Cup semifinals for the first time in 40 years after beating Italian champion Napoli in a penalty shootout on Tuesday.
Stanislav Lobotka’s spot kick was saved by Como goalkeeper Jean Butez to spark wild celebrations on the Napoli pitch as Cesc Fabregas’s side won 7-6 on penalties.

The match ended 1-1 in regulation time.
Martin Baturina gave Como the lead with a penalty in the 39th minute, but Antonio Vergara equalized just after the break.
Napoli came close to victory when Amir Rrahmani saw a header cleared off the line in the second half.
Romelu Lukaku failed to score for Napoli early in the shootout and Maximo Perrone also missed for Como.
Napoli have won the Italian Cup six times, the latest in 2020.
