Arsenal stars have reacted to Ivan Toney’s latest social media post amid the Gunners’ search for a new striker.
Mikel Arteta is in the market for a centre forward this summer after missing out on the Premier League title for the past three seasons.
RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins have all been linked with a move to the Emirates.
Sesko’s wage demands though are putting the Gunners off and Gyokeres is also wanted by Arsenal’s fierce rivals Manchester United.

Toney could make Prem return as stars like post
Ivan Toney’s latest Instagram post (23 June) was liked by Gunners trio Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and David Raya.
The former Brentford striker posted a series of pictures of him enjoying the post-season break.

The post was captioned: “I’m Mr Chow,” and Rice replied by telling Toney he was “mr enjoyment” alongside a laughing emoji.
Toney has played alongside Rice and Saka on England duty, but the striker now plays in Saudi Arabia for Al-Ahli.
Arteta needs to make striker selection soon
Football Insider verdict
At 29 years old, Toney could still have lots to offer a club like Arsenal in the Premier League.
The Gunners have previously been linked with the striker before he moved to the middle east.
Toney scored 33 goals in the 2022/23 season for Brentford and was a reliable penalty taker.

Assists | 11 |
The stumbling block over any deal though could be Toney’s wages and if Arteta is unwilling to sign Sesko over his wage demands then there is little chance the Spaniard will change for the Englishman.
Despite not playing in the Premier League, Toney was still picked in Thomas Tuchel’s latest England squad.
His place in England’s 2026 World Cup squad is far from guaranteed, but a move back to the Premier League may not be a priority this summer for Toney if he’s still getting selected.
Arteta needs to urgently decide which striker he wants to bring to North London as the pre-season matches are only weeks away from commencing.
With a tough start to the league season, which will see them travel to United and Liverpool within the first three matches, the Gunners cannot afford to rely on Kai Havertz’s fitness for yet another campaign.
