Old video films by Tottenham and Arsenal Transfer Target Eberechi Eze that express their love for Gunners have emerged. Crystal Palace players have been linked to both clubs in North London this summer.
Arsenal was originally expected to be Eze’s next destination because of their interest in signing a left -sided attacking midfielder. But their bitter rivals Tottenham now operate in pole position to sign 27-year-old England International.

Eberechi Eze Transfer Saga takes twist when Crystal Palace makes bold call in the middle of Spurs interest
And with Eze who is said to be interested in a Tottenham movement because of their Champions League football, he may have already played his last Premier League game for Eagles on Sunday against Chelsea, where he had a fantastic free kick controversially criticized.
Arsenal’s interest in Eze has cooled since they announced a new long-term contract for 18-year-old Ethan Nwaneri, with England star’s arrival, which potentially blocks both Nwaneri and 15-year-old Wonderkid Max Dowman’s path to the first team.
But while Spurs has no problems picking up the pieces, it is likely that their fans will be impressed by an old interview by Eze, which has appeared online. In the clip, which is said to be filmed in 2018 while he was still an exciting perspective on Queens Park Rangers, Eze makes his loyalty to Boyhood Club Arsenal clear.
When asked who his favorite premier League team was by journalist Alessandro Morolli-Schiavone, Eze replied: “Arsenal. I just supported them from Young. How they play. I played with them when I was younger so they are my favorite team.”
When asked if he would leave if Arsenal came and called, he replied, “I don’t know about all this. I’m a QPR player now and I’m happy to play for QPR.” Eze was also asked who would win the Premier League that season (2018/19), to which he boldly predicted: “Arsenal. I believe in some way.”
He went on to add: “When I was younger I used to love Thierry Henry, and that’s kind of why I decided to write for them. Just grow up and play for them, I’ve become a love for them.”
Palace signed Eze from QPR back in the summer of 2020 for about £ 17 million. Before that, he was on the books at Arsenal’s famous Hale End Academy, although he later admitted that he was left “crying for a week” after being released at the age of 13.
He has become one of Premier League’s most exciting players in Palace, which made 167 performances in all competitions and scored 39 goals – of which 14 came last season.
Spurs-Manager Thomas Frank was asked about a potential transfer after his Sida’s opening day vs Burnley, but remained tightly leaned.
He said: “We are definitely on the market. I said it earlier, Daniel and Johan and Vinai work relentlessly to try to do their best to improve the squad, but we just want to improve the squad if we can get players in it can improve the squad. I want to keep it like this.”
The question specifically about Eze answered the Danish: “I have the pleasant principle that I would like to talk about the players who are internal and all other speculation that I do not want to talk too much about it.”
