Arsenal are deciding whether to make a move for Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze, sources have told Football Insider.

The Gunners last week enquired about the availability of the England international, who has a £68million release clause in his Palace contract.

Eze is one of the players Arsenal are considering, as they look to add attacking talent to their side, but he is not at the top of their shortlist.

The 27-year-old is eager to play at the highest level, and the North London side can offer him Champions League football next season.

Arsenal eye Eze move after Crystal Palace takeover twist

Eze has been at Crystal Palace since he made the switch from Queens Park Rangers back in 2020, for a fee of around £17m.

The 27-year-old has developed into a talismanic figure at the South London club over the years, which has attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal.

Last month, Eze scored the winner as Palace beat Manchester City 1-0 in the FA Cup final to secure the club their first ever piece of major silverware.

However, the Eagles are still yet to find out whether they will be competing in the Europa League next season, due to an ownership issue surrounding John Textor and Lyon.

If Palace are kicked out of the competition, it could hurt their chances of keeping Eze at the club.

‘Arsenal consider Martinelli bid‘

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are reportedly considering a surprise move to sign Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli as they aim to strengthen on the left-hand side.

That is according to former Man United chief scout Mick Brown, who claimed that the 24-year-old is on a long list of targets for the German champions.

After missing out on signing Florian Wirtz, Vincent Kompany’s side are assessing alternative options out wide, and have set their sights on the Premier League.

This comes after Brown told Football Insider last month that Arsenal are prepared to accept offers for Martinelli as Mikel Arteta eyes an overhaul of his attacking options.
