Eric Gordon Inks 1 year new agreement with Sixers-Nbc Sports Philadelphia

Eric Gordon is officially still a Sixer.
The 36 -year -old guard signed a new contract, announced the team on Tuesday evening. Before the end of the moratorium (6 July at 12:01 et), the teams are authorized to formalize the offers of one year and the minimum wage.
Gordon refused his player’s option, but he always seemed to remain in Philadelphia. While Derek Bodner of Phly has detailed, hitting the free agency and then the new signature will slightly increase the salary of Gordon’s 2025-26, also decreasing his blow to the hood.
In a low career of 19.7 minutes per game last year, Gordon scored on average 6.8 points, 1.7 assists and 1.2 rebounds. It shot 40.9 percent from three points with 3.5 attempts per race.
Although Gordon is clearly beyond his peak, the Sixer still see his external shots useful.
“Eric is a prolific manufacturer of shots whose ability to sweep the floor will serve our rotation well,” said the president of the basketball operations by Sixers Daryl Morey in a team press release. “It was fantastic inside and off the pitch with this organization and we are lucky to get it back.”
Sixers should have many much younger guards in the mix next season, including Tyrese Maxey, Jared McCain and teammate Bahamian Vj Edgecombe of Gordon.
Tuesday before, the Sixers signed Edgecombe and Johni Broome for their beginner contracts and ink Hunter Salis to his two -way agreement. All three were practiced at the Sixers Summer League minicamp, which is destined to run on Wednesday before the team’s trip to the Salt Lake City Summer League.
