ARSENAL destroyed Tottenham 4-1 thanks to a historic hat-trick from Eberechi Eze at the Emirates.

Eze, 27, became the first player to score three goals in a single north London derby during the 21st century.

Eze got his first just five minutes into Trossard’s opener and all but sealed all three points for the Premier League leaders just seconds into the second half.

Spurs thought they could come home after Richarlison’s 40-yard stunner in the 55th minute, but the England international would not be denied his well-deserved hat-trick with a fine finish in the 76th minute.

But who else stood out for Arsenal apart from Eze? SunSport’s Charlie Wyett rates just one of Mikel Arteta’s players:

PROTECTIVE

Why is Tottenham star Randal Kolo Muani wearing a jaw guard against Arsenal?

DAVID RAYA – 6

Not much to do and should have brought his Playstation to keep busy. You couldn’t really blame him for the Tottenham goal as it was a superb finish from Richarlison.

JURRIEN WOOD – 8

He is enjoying the season of his career and it was another outstanding performance. Played a part in Arsenal’s first three goals.

GUILLAUME SALIBA – 7

There is more responsibility on his shoulders due to Gabriel Magalhaes’ injury, but he is a natural leader and has coped with everything Spurs could throw at him.

PIERO HINCAPIE – 8

It was his first Premier League start, but the Ecuador international looked like he had been playing here for years. Gabriel who?

RICCARDO CALAFIORI – 7

He was doubtful before the match after picking up an injury with Italy, but another solid performance and he should get more credit than he got.

MARTIN ZUBIMENDI – 7

He spoiled an otherwise excellent performance when he was dispossessed by a tackle from Rodrigo Bentancur, although no one could have expected Richarlison to score his superb goal from distance.

DECLAN RICE – 7

Playing at such a high level is good for Arsenal and for England. He seemed to be absolutely everywhere and with one exception his crossings and passes were brilliant.

Was at the center of some handbag stuff at the end for his foul on Xavi Simons, although he also appeared to leave a knee on his opponent’s head. .

EBERECHI EZE – 9

A day he will never forget. His only Premier League goal for Arsenal had been against former club Crystal Palace, so it was inevitable that he would score at least one against the club he had almost joined. The fact that he scored a hat-trick was extraordinary.

BUKAYO SAKA – 7

A solid performance, summed up by the fact that he recovered the ball in front of Wilson Odobert to create the move towards third base. He was also denied a goal thanks to a good save from Guglielmo Vicario.

LÉANDRO TROSSARD – 7

Scored the first goal but was a bit lucky as his shot deflected heavily off Micky van de Ven. Leandro Trossard has done very well this season as summed up by his role on the fourth goal.

MIKEL MERINO – 7

Brilliant pass for the first goal when he was working so hard. Much credit must be given to Mikel Merino for adapting to the central attacking role and his pass to Eberechi Eze for the fourth was also classy.
