FA Cup fifth round draw in full: Arsenal away to EFL opposition, Macclesfield FC facing possible third tie with Premier League club

Premier League leaders Arsenal were handed an away draw at Mansfield Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Mikel Arteta’s side beat Wigan Athletic on Sunday, scoring four goals in the first half, and their reward is another match with a League One team.

While Mansfield’s efforts to beat Burnley were rewarded, Macclesfield were given another incentive to defeat Brentford on Monday night.

National League North side will travel to West Ham United in the last 16 if they can cause an upset against the bees.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United were set to face Manchester City at St James’ Park, with the two sides having previously met in the 2026 EFL Cup semi-finals.

Liverpool travel to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Wrexham host Chelsea in a blockbuster match that will attract attention in the United States due to their respective properties.

Fulham will meet Southampton, Leeds United will face Norwich City and either Port Vale or Bristol City will host Sunderland.

These eight matches will be played between March 5 and 8.
