Fabrizio Romano claims that Arsenal keeps track of this series one forward: Should Arteta bring him on board?
In a video on its Youtube channel, famous journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Arsenal keeps track of Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman this summer. Romano said: “Let’s see what is going to happen, guys, because Lookman can be an alternative for English clubs. At the moment, no advanced, but for example, the agents for Lookman could always prioritize Inter, but now with Inter no longer in the race, Premier League clubs could be attentive.
“So, for example, let’s see what is happening at Arsenal. Arsenal is very pleased with the squad they have right now. When it comes to age, Lookman is probably not exactly the profile for players that Arsenal usually signs.

“But maybe if Trossard decides to leave in the last few weeks, it may be an opportunity.
“So let’s see what’s going to happen. But Lookman can be an interesting name for these last weeks for Premier League clubs.”
Lookman’s good record in Italian football
Lookman enjoyed a good form of form at the Italian club recently after he produced a run of impressive screens for them in the last third. The Nigerian talent got 20 times and picked up seven assists in 40 matches for Atalanta last season over several competitions.

The 27-year-old did well for an average of 3.24 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A. He held 39.5% of his attempts on goal. However, Lookman must improve its ball distribution, as shown in its passing rate of 72.5% in the Italian top flight (statistics via fbref.com).
Should Arsenal -Manager Mikel Arteta bring Lookman on board this summer?
Lookman is a good dribbler with the ball and can create some meaningful chances for their teammates to score. He can hit the ball with force from long reach and has proven to be a consistent goal scorer in Serie A.
However, the jury is still out on whether Lookman can retain its good form in the Premier League if Gunners manage to snap him this summer.

Lookman would provide more quality and depth to Arsenal manager Mikel Artetas’s front line. He is good enough to serve as an ideal backup to Viktor Gyokeres at the North London Club.
Like 27 years, Lookman plays in his premiere, so that the Gunnarna would be wise to bring him on board before the end of this transfer window.
