Starting with the absentees, Viktor Gyokeres (Sweden), Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus (Brazil), Kai Havertz (Germany), Martin Odegaard (Norway) and on-loan Oleksandr Zinchenko (Ukraine) all remain out of action due to their respective injury problems.
Myles Lewis-Skelly was also left out of the England squad by Thomas Tuchel, with Nico O’Reilly preferred due to his more regular involvement with Manchester City.

Odegaard is expected to attend Norway’s matches although he cannot take part, as captain of a team on the verge of a long-awaited World Cup qualification. But that remains to be confirmed as he may have to undergo the vital final stages of his rehabilitation with Arsenal.
