The 24-year-old defender, injured at the end of November, has now completed his recovery and returned to full first-team training. His absence was felt, causing him to miss the Gunners’ last three competitive matches in all competitions.
Saliba’s return comes at an opportune time as Mikel Arteta’s side prepare for their next European encounter against Club Brugge. The defender has been a key part of Arsenal’s backline this season, making 16 appearances and contributing one assist.
His availability strengthens a team which has already achieved impressive continental form, currently leading their Champions League group with a perfect 15 points from their first five matches.
