Guardiola on Oscar Bobb: ‘Always playing at a high level’
Oscar Bobb has broken into Manchester City’s first team squad this season. Now the talent is praised by head coach Pep Guardiola.
The young winger Oscar Bobb, 20, was promoted to Manchester City’s first team this summer.
Before this autumn, the Norwegian had not made his debut for the club’s first team, but in recent months he has been given the chance.
So far, there has been one assist in six games in the Premier League, as well as one goal in three games in the group stage of the Champions League.
In addition to this, Bobb has also participated in two games in the Club World Cup, as well as one match in the League Cup during the autumn season.
Now, the attacking Norwegian is being praised by Manchester City’s head coach, Pep Guardiola.
“He always plays at a high level. We’re really, really happy. He’s not a player who’s coming up from the academy, he’s for real,” the coach said, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Guardiola elaborates on his thoughts on Bobb.

“I see him every day in training, he makes a good impact, his hard work and many, many things (are good),” Guardiola said.
The winger’s current deal with Manchester City runs until the summer of 2026. However, it has recently been reported that the big club wants to extend it.
