Andre Harriman-Annous has plenty of sports inspiration in his life and after signing his first professional contract he hopes to continue his journey towards greatness.

Supported Arsenal all his life, Andre joined us in May 2016 and has distinguished himself during his time both at Hale End and Sobha Realty Training Center and went on a season tour to Singapore and Hong Kong with the first team this summer.

In addition to his brother, Brandon, who also came through our academy, Andre’s uncle British and Irish lion is Captain Maro Itoje. The Saracens star has given the attacker a lot of support in his young career and is someone that Andre looks up to when he continues his career path.

He said, “I talk to him pretty much. I think he is in Australia right now with Lions, so I’ve seen him and kept in touch with him.

“But he is another great inspiration. Of course he does on one of the highest levels in another sport. So something I can look up to.”

Andre has also seen the development of Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri and played during the year during the couple through the academy, which also serves as an incentive for him to break into the first team one day.

Young Gun: Andre Harriman-Enous

As an Arsenal fan, Andre, Fa Cup victory is reminiscent of Aston Villa and looked at Alexis Sanchez as some of his favorite memories and after signing his new business, hopes the exciting kid to follow the legends’ footsteps in front of him.

“It’s a really good day to sign my first professional contract. I am a fan of Arsenal so it is a dream that is really fulfilled.

“I want to continue playing in the under-21s, hopefully with England as well. I want to go to under 19 euros at the end of the season and hopefully, if I continue to press, I will be on the bench and make my debut with the first team. Hopefully I can make it possible.”

England Under-18 International, which was on its debut in the UEFA Youth League, has already had a taste of playing at Emirates Stadium in the FA Youth Cup against Manchester United last season.

He said: “It was a really good experience because we do the same thing as the first team. So it was a really good experience.
