Emi Bundia was a hot property during its period in Norwich City, playing an influential role in two Promor League promotions. “I was close,” he admitted. “It was there, but in these things I like to be involved but not entirely, as I like my space. I think that the reason I chose Aston Villa had to feel an important player in an important project.
“The club today shows what they were planning even before they signed me. For me, it was a crucial moment in my career. During my period at the club, until we found an emery, they tried with other coaches and the results did not arrive.
“The club believed that he could reach Europe and the Aston Villa is now showing their level. I liked it very much all the time. I felt well and part of the team. I had times when I played more or less, but this is football.”
The Bundia has recently been connected with Leeds United just promoted, that it is said to be excited to take it off. A move for Elland Road would see him gathered with Daniel Farke, the manager who thrown during his period in Norwich.
“One of the most important coaches of my career,” added Bundia. “He gave me the opportunity to join the club, of course. For me, the most important thing he gave me as a player, gave me the security of being myself, of having fun, of feeling free me on the field.”
