Maddy Earl, on loan at Ipswich Town, has returned to parent club Arsenal ahead of schedule.
The Tractor Girls confirmed the news via a post on their club’s official website this evening.
The 19-year-old England youth international was due to spend the entire season at Ipswich Town, but returns to parent club Arsenal with a third of the campaign remaining.

Earl played an important role in establishing Ipswich Town in the Barclays WSL2 in the first half of the season. She made seven appearances for the Suffolk team in all competitions.
The youngster joined Arsenal’s academy at the age of eight and she managed to work her way through the various age groups to the fringes of the senior team. Earl toured Australia with the Gunners at the end of the 2023/2024 season and she signed her first professional term with the club in January 2025.
Earl has been away from Arsenal in recent times. The player spent the first half of last season on loan at Bristol City before joining Sheffield United for the second half of the campaign. With minutes far from guaranteed at Arsenal this season, the club opted to loan Earl to Ipswich Town to get regular football.
The next steps in Earl’s development are not yet known.
