Doncic had returned to the Lakers’ lineup after missing the previous two games in a three-game road series following the birth of his son.

He recorded a game-high 31-point triple-double, 15 rebounds and 11 assists.

“At the end of a trip, there can be a lot of tired legs,” said James, who missed his team’s previous game.

“I felt great. I had the opportunity with some pretty good legs to try to assert myself a little bit on offense.”
