Jaren Jackson Jr. Di Grizzlies, Zach Edey, Brandon Clarke to lose the season by recovering from surgery

This is a serious blow to start the season for a memphis team who needs to demonstrate that he can make noise in a deep western conference.

Jaren Jackson Jr. and Zach Edey – the initial power and the center of the team – as well as the Backup brand Brandon Clarke will all miss the training camp and the beginning of the season takes place from the surgery, the team has announced on Friday.

A star of last season and a former defensive player of the year, Jackson has undergone surgery to help manage an injury to the tip of the turf in July. Last season he scored 22.2 points per game on average, shooting at 37.5% from beyond the arch, while playing in defense of the elite. Because of his two -way and Jarant game who is inside and outside the formation in recent seasons, Jackson has become the best player of the Grizzlies and losing him is a serious blow. Saints Alfama will move to the initial formation in its place.

Edey made all-rookie of the first team last season, with an average of 9.2 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, blocking 1.3 shots per night.

Clarke recovered from the distortion of the knee that slowed him down at the end of the last season, but now suffers from synovitis of the right knee – an inflammation of the synovial membrane that surrounds and helps to lubricate the knee – and that requested the knee to be coupled. Although there is no time sequence to Clarke’s return, it will be re -evaluated in six weeks, Shams Charania reports by Espn. This probably pushes his return to November.

All these frontcourt lesions will put much more pressure on Ja Morant to keep the Grizzlies afloat to start the season until everyone is healthy. In an west with a minimum of 13 teams that think of the playoffs, it will be a great question.
