Jimmy Butler questionable for the Warriors-Lkers-Nbc Sports Bay Area and California Highlord game
San Francisco – Jimmy Butler is going through his first training camp with the Warriors after being acquired by Miami Heat at the commercial expiration of February last February, but his debut in Preseason with the team may have to wait.
Butler rolled his ankle on Thursday and did not practice on Friday or Saturday. Coach Steve Kerr is calling Butler’s status a “question mark” for the opening of Sunday’s Presetson against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Chase Center.
“It will be a decision of the training staff,” said Kerr.

The Warriors and the director of Sports Medicine and Rick Celembel performance will be extremely cautious with the health of the players during the Hubper, in particular Veterans such as Butler, Steph Curry, Draymond Green and the Horford. Curry, Green and Horford should play on Sunday.
Centers Trayce Jackson-Davis is also considered questionable for warriors. Jackson-Davis when he spoke on Saturday at the podium he had his right thumb recorded.
He says it’s nothing to worry about.
“The thumb is good,” said Jackson-Davis. “Just a little precaution.”
The guard de’anthony Melton continues to rehabilitate from the left ACL intervention which he suffered in December. Melton will miss the whole NBA 2025-26 pre-hearing, as well as the beginning of the regular season. He was able to pass through individual work such as the rest of the practice of warriors and the scrimmage in the training field.
Wednesday Warriors announced that Melton will be re -evaluated in four weeks.
Even the debutant Alex Toohey will not be healthy enough to play on Sunday, delaying his debut goddown NBA. Toohey had to deal with an ankle injury that hindered him in the training field and even earlier.
With their first of two choices for the second round, the Warriors selected Toohey n. 52 in total in June. Toohey, a 6-foot striker-8 from Australia, played six summer championship games and marked an average of 6.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
The Lakers on Friday played their first game of Preseason, losing 103-81 against the Phoenix Suns. Lebron James and Luka Dončić did not play both in the loss.
Kerr plans to use a deep rotation Sunday without a player tired.
“I don’t think anyone will play much more than 15, 18 minutes,” said Kerr. “Maybe a couple of young boys enter the 1920s. First game, I love giving everyone the time. I want to give all the players who are on the active list a few minutes.”
