Juventus trailing behind Arsenal & Inter in the race for Vasilije Kostov

Juventus are interested in the services of coveted Red Star teenager Vasilije Kostov, but Arsenal and Inter are said to be the main protagonists in the race for his signature.

The attacking midfielder is one of Serbia’s most promising young talents in recent years.

Despite being only 17, Kostov was promoted to the senior team last summer and has already established himself as the club’s biggest attraction. This season he has already contributed with 12 goals and six assists in his 33 appearances in all competitions.

The Belgrade native’s exploits have certainly not gone unnoticed, with many major European clubs already vying for his services.

Nevertheless, the source reveals that the youngster dreams of playing in the Premier League, which gives a significant advantage to Arsenalwho is considered his most faithful suitor on the English coast.

The Premier League leaders have already submitted a €20 million bid for the midfielder which was quickly rejected by the Red Stars, who are only keen to part ways with the teenager for a record deal.

Inter try to overtake Arsenal for Kostov

With the Gunners hot on the teenager’s heels, Inter believe they can tip the scales in their favor with a few winning cards.

As the source explains, the Nerazzurri are counting on their legend, Dejan Stankovic, to convince Kostov to join them.

Additionally, the teenager is represented by Nikola Kolarov, the brother of Aleksandar Kolarov, who is currently Cristian Chivu’s assistant coach at Inter.
